Quiet beach resort for honeymoon in Florida? - quiet beaches in florida for honeymoon
My friend and I begin to look for honeymoon places. We married in August 2008 16th We come to Florida. We think 5-6 days in Orlando and Disney go (the barrel is made, never was), then perhaps staying in a resort / hotel for a further 5-6 days. We can also think in order to make the first of all soaking tub, a break in the madness of the wedding and then at Disney. We know where we want to be Disney, but we are helpless when it comes to the beaches in flordia. Suggestions? We are open to all, we would like something quiet and isolated on the beach! TIA!

Depends on what you want. If the media is really quiet and still, Flagler Beach (north of Daytona) is a small seaside town with a dozen motels, B & B is rare, maybe 5 restaurants, and everything else a fine execption beach. Whales and dolphins have been observed in this area. My partner and I was there once or twice a year for a romantic weekend. Our favorite places to stay, the Topaz Motel, picturesque and full of antiques, but also practical and affordable. For a little more luxury we go a little further north at the gates of the White Orchid.
For special occasions, we Topaz honeymoon room with private balcony with sea views, private entry (without going through the lobby) at midnight walk on the beach, the Jacuzzi rooms, antique canopyBed, painted ceilings, and a touch of charm. This room is not cheap, but as romantic as all get out. If you bring your bicycle, you can sell on the bridge to the mainland and a large supermarket. St. Augustine's close enough for one day, like Daytona.
The best beaches I've seen in Florida are in the vicinity of Tampa Bay. St. Pete Clearwater white sand and beautiful, but the industry is highly developed. It is a beautiful art-deco hotel called the Don Cesar in St. Pete.
Along the south side of Tampa Bay to find the open spots will be much more peaceful and beautiful beaches. Long Boat Key has several golf courses and is very pretty.
Enjoy!
